About “Jalal Malaksha’s Poetry Collection book”:

This book consists of two parts of Malaksha poems in Kurdish and Persian language. The Kurdish part of this collection called “Zirey Zencîrî Wişe Dîlekan (The Clank of the Chains of the Captive Words) includes those poems which were written from 1981 to 2006. The Persian part titled as “Anxiety Season Songs” includes the poems written between 1953 to 2004. This book was published for the first time in 2014 and was widely welcomed and was therefore published for the second time. The Kurdish-Persian poems of this collection involve social and political themes. Some of these poems have been translated into other languages.

The short stories collection book titled as “Karesat (disaster)” consists of 19 Kurdish short stories. Some of the stories of this collection were previously published in magazines such as Sirwe and Raman etc. and were collected for the first time in 2011 and published as stories collection. In this book the writer deeply focuses on the chaotic circumstances of people’s lives in Kurdistan and gives an analysis of the reasons and causes of civil war between the social and political parties in this region. The book is written in simple and clear language. Some of the short stories published in this book have been translated into Persian, Arabic, Turkish, English, French and Russian. Karesat has been reprinted three times so far.

This book is a collection of poems of the Kurdish poet, Malaksha written between 1973 to 2004 which were printed in 2014 for the first time. The main subject of this poem collection is about the circumstances of Kurdistan and Iran. The majority of the poems are national and political and some have a romantic theme and are within the writer’s mind. Most of the poems which were printed in Zirey Zencîrî Wişe Dîlekan were already published in the Kurdish newspapers and magazines. Although this book didn’t get the chance to be presented in the other regions of Kurdistan (north, south and west) but it was highly welcomed and has been reprinted for five times so far.
